Window Wanderland continues in Coventry and Warwickshire after incredible start

People across Coventry and Warwickshire are being invited to bring light and colour to their windows after a creative project got off to an incredible start.

Coventry City of Culture Trust’s Window Wanderland got underway in Earlsdon, Whoberley, Longford, Potters Green and Wood End as more than 400 front windows and gardens were decorated and enjoyed by local people.

The project, which is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, is now moving to other areas of the city and the county over the coming weeks and will run until March 19.

It is a great way to come together as a community, and as a city, and do something creative whilst everyone is still in lockdown. It is a great way to have fun with kids, or just to get creative yourself and share artistic talent with your friends and neighbours

People can be as simple or as elaborate as they like with their display and can register their involvement at the Coventry2021.co.uk website to become part of a trail for others in their area to enjoy.

They can also register for online workshops to give them ideas and tips for what to create.

From Saturday, February 27, through to Friday, March 5, Window Wanderland will be taking place in Coundon, Radford, Holbrooks, Canley and Westwood Heath.

It will then move to Tile Hill, Eastern Green, Foleshill, Hillfields, Rugby, Brownsover and Newton from Saturday, March 6 to Friday, March 12.

The last leg of Window Wanderland will see Stivichall, Finham, Cheylesmore, Stoke, Wyken, Warwick Gates, Whitnash and Kenilworth take part from Saturday, March 13 to Friday, March 19.
