A beloved TV personality and talent show judge is heading to an award-winning Warwickshire hotel to tell all about his glittering career.
Former Strictly Come Dancing head judge, Len Goodman will be hosting guests at the Coombe Abbey Hotel on Sunday, May 12 for Afternoon Tea with Len Goodman.
The dancing legend spent 12 years at the head of the judges table on the hit BBC show, and, soon after his 75th birthday, will be speaking in depth about a career spanning over six decades.
There will also be a Q&A with Len, who is heading to award-winning venue for the very first time and guests will more than likely pick up a few dance tips as well and hear the catchphrases ‘It’s a ten from Len’, ‘pickle my walnuts’ and of course ‘Seven’.
Guests will be able to enjoy Coombe Abbey’s award-winning afternoon tea inside the Brinklow-based hotel’s marquee.
Those who attend are asked to arrive in their Sunday best on a day that is sure to be packed with fascinating showbiz anecdotes.
Len was also a judge on Dancing with the Stars – America’s answer to strictly – until last year, and will bring all his stateside stories to the historic venue.
The venue has released a limited number of VIP tickets for the event, giving fans the chance to have a photo with Len, and secure the best seats in the house.
Ron Terry, general manager at Coombe Abbey Hotel, said: “This event is a must see for strictly fans, especially those who have been a fan from the start.
“Len is someone we’ve wanted to have join us for a long time now, and it’s going to be an exciting day filled with interesting tales.
“We have a limited number of VIP tickets available, so people should move quickly in order to avoid disappointment, and get their photo taken with Len.
“We’re looking forward to this event with a true legend of British television, and hope to see plenty of fans joining us on the day.”
