A pair of beloved Coventry venues have progressed to the regional finals of a nationwide competition – and now it’s over to the public to decide their favourite.
No Ordinary Hospitality Management (NOHM) venues Coombe Abbey Hotel and St Mary’s Guildhall are among a host of Coventry venues named as finalists in this year’s Warwickshire and West Midlands Muddy Stilettos Awards.
Coombe Abbey Hotel is once again a finalist in the best Hotel/Inn (30+ rooms) category after claiming the 2022 regional prize, and is also nominated for the best Wedding Venue in the region, while St Mary’s Guildhall, which reopened to the public last year following a £6 million restoration, is up for the Family Attraction award.
NOHM staff have urged the Coventry, Warwickshire and West Midlands public to show their support for their favourite venues and attractions, as each regional winner will stand a chance of winning the first ever National Muddy Awards, which will see winners across all 28 counties compete for the top prize in their category.
Votes can be cast online at warks.muddystilettos.co.uk/vote until Sunday, June 4.
Head of Marketing at NOHM, Rebecca Freeman said: “We are thrilled to have progressed to the regional finals of the 2023 Muddy Stilettos awards, and are extremely grateful to everyone who nominated us.
“As always, we are up against some serious competition across the region, but we know that St Mary’s Guildhall and Coombe Abbey are real favourites among the people of Coventry and visitors in the wider region – and we’d be honoured by any support over the next couple weeks.”
