After 18 months of continued growth The Transportation Consultancy (ttc) is revving up for further success by opening its new head office in Leamington Spa.
Established in 2013 by Managing Director George Bailes, the company started by working in a shared office space, but due to its continued growth they have had to expand into their own office space.
They have now put down official roots in Park Street, in Leamington town centre, securing a lease on its new office with the help of local law-firm Wright Hassall.
George said: “I’m really proud of how the company is performing. It feels like a really important stage in our history, as just 18 months ago, we were a team of two.
“Now we have a team of seven and our own office.
“Business is continuing to grow steadily, we are taking on more and more projects and we have just launched a new division within the company focusing on sustainable transport.
“The office move felt like the natural next step so I am really thankful to Wright Hassall for making the process so smooth.”
The company specialises in all aspects of transport planning including traffic engineering and transport economics, and works with clients ranging from the University of Oxford and Birmingham City Council to Bellway Homes.
The firm set its sights on a move to Leamington as many of its staff are from the area, and worked with Nathan Hinks from Wright Hassall’s commercial real estate team to conclude the lease over the summer.
Nathan said: "It’s great to help George and the team with their move.
“George initially started the company, and after moving over to Leamington and setting up in a shared office here, he’s been looking to find an office of their own which they can call home.
“It’s really good news to see he is now cementing the company’s future in Leamington, and as they near closer to their 10th anniversary celebrations this seems like a fitting milestone.”
