This Winter, Feed The Hungry UK are working in collaboration with Groundwork and Coventry city council to provide food parcels for children around the city as part of the governments Holiday and Activity Fund (HAF) programme.
Feed The Hungry will be providing a food parcel consisting of ingredients and recipe cards to produce a number of meals including; tuna pasta bake, Winter soup, vegetable & chickpea curry, shortbread biscuits and apple & pear crumble together with additional fresh fruit and dairy items. Food parcels will be distributed to children from 14th December ready for the start of the Christmas holidays.
Can your organisation help us to pack 2,000 food parcels?
We are looking for corporate teams to join us at our warehouse located in The Halo Centre, Binley, from Friday 26th November as we pack and prepare the first part of our food parcels. We're looking for teams of 10 - 20 people that can volunteer for a morning session, afternoon session or a full day.
