Businesses are being challenged to compete against each other and take on their colleagues in an immersive exhibition at Coventry Transport Museum.
Move and Play is making its debut in the UK having attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors during stints in Bangkok and Hong Kong and provides the perfect opportunity for employees to put their senses, fitness and balance to the test.
The exhibition is getting people of all ages to be more active through 19 different physical challenges, which include demonstrating the accuracy and power of their football kicks, their running speed, their hand-eye co-ordination and even finding out which animal they weigh the same as.
Ruark Jon-Stevens, Marketing and Communications Manager at Culture Coventry, the trust that manages Coventry Transport Museum, said: “Since the exhibition launched there have been thousands of people visiting the museum to try these challenges and we thought wouldn’t this also be a brilliant way to get Coventry and Warwickshire businesses involved in European City of Sport.
“The exhibition is interactive, educational, active and fun – the perfect fit for a team building exercise or away day. This is the first time the exhibition has come to the UK and it is also of special relevance to the close working partnership between Culture Coventry and CV Life.
“Pair a trip to the exhibition with access to the museum, home to the two fastest cars on the planet and the world’s largest publicly-owned collection of British road transport and it really is a day to remember!”
Normal admission charges apply for the venue, there is no additional charge for the exhibition.
Move and Play has been made possible through support from the European City of Sport 2019 and Coventry and Warwickshire Year of Wellbeing.
