Bromwich Hardy reaches north to acquire Lake District warehousing for corporate client

Leading Midlands commercial estate agency Bromwich Hardy has reached north into the Lake District to arrange new warehousing for a corporate client.

The deal will see the unnamed client moving into 5,000 sq ft at Units 1A and 1B and another 792 sq ft at Unit 3A on the Western Bank Industrial Estate near Wigton, in Cumbria.

Western Bank Industrial Estate is a modern industrial estate on the western edge of Wigton, a busy market town situated in the northern range of the Lake District Fells, around 12 south west of Carlisle and 22 north of Keswick.

Tom Bromwich, partner of Bromwich Hardy, explained that the B530 links Wigton to Penrith and Junction 41 of the M6, and there is a train station at Wigton providing regular services to Carlisle and down the Lake District coast.

Mr Bromwich said: “We were pleased to find a very suitable location for one of our corporate clients who needed extra and well located warehousing in the north of England.

“The Western Bank Industrial Estate is perfect as these are quite modern units and within easy reach of rail and road transport.”

Bromwich Hardy successfully negotiated competitive terms on behalf of their corporate client for the units on a five-year lease.
