The Telegraph Hotel in Coventry is helping couples to banish the January blues as it looks ahead to Valentine’s Day.
The uber-cool hotel, which is set within the former newspaper offices, has unveiled a Valentine’s menu that will be available from Friday, February 14 through to Sunday, February 16 in its popular Forme & Chase restaurant.
A three-course meal for two, including a bottle of prosecco, is on offer at £39 per person with a range of sumptuous options on the menu.
The Telegraph has also brought back its Lovers Afternoon Tea after it proved to be popular last year among couples from across the region. It is available Wednesday to Sunday in February and is priced at £32 for two.
It includes a range of teas and coffees; a tasty selection of finger sandwiches and some specially crafted miniature desserts including strawberry hearts, ruby chocolate and rhubarb cheesecake, macaroons and raspberry meringue tarts as well as scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
Amy Windsor, manager of the Telegraph Hotel, said: “I think we’re all glad to see the back of January and that is why our Valentine’s menu and Lovers Afternoon Teas are so popular as it’s a great way to come out and banish the January blues.
“We’ve got a couple of great offers available and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests to the hotel this February to share in the delights from our chef and his team.”
