The drum is beating for rock music from children across Warwickshire after a specialist tuition firm expanded into new space, thanks to commercial property agents Bromwich Hardy.
Top of the Rock Tuition Ltd, which offers lessons in live guitar, drum, piano and singing performances, has signed up to rent 1,941 sq ft of space at Unit 10 of Avenue Fields Industrial Estate in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This unit, which has been fitted out to resemble a Hard Rock Café, will now become the company’s home base, with other venues in Warwick and Leeds.
Mark Booth, surveyor at Bromwich Hardy, said: “We’re always delighted to assist companies with their expansion plans, and it was particularly nice to help Top of the Rock Tuition and their exciting services for youth who have aspirations to play live music.
“Avenue Fields has proved very popular as it provides units of a size where current demand outweighs supply, leading to swift deals as soon as they become available.
“These small units are great spaces for young and upcoming local businesses, with plenty of room inside, and parking outside too.”
Kris Farrell, the owner of Top of the Rock Tuition, explained that the growing company now employed eight staff, with another 30-plus contractors helping it to train more than 650 youngsters a year.
Mr Farrell said: “We’re really grateful to Mark at Bromwich Hardy for working closely with us to secure what is a perfect space.
“Things are really buzzing for us and we are growing fast, so the new premises could not have come at a better time.”
The landlord’s legal advisors were Hadgkiss Hughes & Beale Solicitors, based in Birmingham.
Mr Booth added that the five-year lease arranged for the music firm was one of three recently completed at Avenue Fields, the others being:
Active Mobility Ltd, which has taken 2,670 sq ft of space in Units 3 and 4 on a 10-year lease, and
MJS Contracts (ENG) Ltd, which has taken 1,345 sq ft of space in Unit 12 on a five-year lease.
