The Albany Theatre is on the brink of an exciting new future. Ten years after the theatre reopened and now increasingly recognised as Coventry’s leading professionally managed community venue, The Albany launches a suite of new facilities early in the New Year that will enable us to increase, steadily and exponentially, the range of opportunities we offer to the many communities we serve.
At the Launchpad you’ll get to see our new facilities and to catch a sneak preview of the cast in rehearsal for our Christmas Show, Oliver Twist. You’ll find out more about the future ambition for the Albany Theatre, the role it plays within Coventry's cultural scene, how its work helps to improve and change lives, and how you can get involved through sponsorship and philanthropy, staff volunteering or other advocacy routes.
If Social Investment is an important strand of your Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, or you would like it to be, there is something here to inspire you. This is an invitation-only event with the intention to promote mutually beneficial conversations around partnership, support, and next steps as we build towards this new, exciting phase in the Albany Theatre's nationally important history.
Opportunities range from partnership funding in return for naming rights, through relatively small amounts for specific items (for example, the interval drinks shelf!), to funding support for individual community outreach projects or training for volunteers and staff. We are almost over the line – you may be able to help with one last nudge!
