An expanding Midlands property development company has made a senior appointment to continue its growth plans.
Glen Langham has joined AC Lloyd, whose headquarters are at Tachbrook Park in Warwick, as Planning and Development Director.
The 44-year-old was previously Senior Planning and Development Director at Bloor Homes. He also spent seven years at Warwick-based L&Q Estates (formerly Gallagher Estates) where he was Group Planning Director.
AC Lloyd, which is split into AC Lloyd Homes, AC Lloyd Commercial and AC Lloyd Strategic Land, has been creating homes in Warwickshire for over 70 years.
Glen said: “AC Lloyd is a well-respected privately-owned business with a fantastic reputation for building high-quality homes, commercial developments and new communities.
“The company has predominantly focused its activities in Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands, but the success of commercial developments such as the £30 million mixed-use Teal Park scheme in Nottingham emphasises the Company’s capability and appetite to get involved in developments further afield.
“I’m looking forward to working with the entire team along with our various partners, advisors, and the communities where we are active as we look to continue delivering the new homes, business space and infrastructure that is needed.”
Peter Beddoes, Chairman of AC Lloyd, said Glen’s appointment highlighted its intentions to further grow the company.
“We have wonderful staff in every area of the business who work hard every day to maintain our reputation for providing the best possible homes and commercial developments,” he said.
“We are delighted to welcome Glen to AC Lloyd. Glen’s experience will add to our management team’s expertise in delivering highly successful developments and securing new development opportunities so we can continue to build upon our proud history and expand the business in to the future.”
