Steve is the vice chair of the Place Board and has been involved from the beginning of the formation and development of the Coventry and Warwickshire Champions.
Steve now runs his own company-The Stewart Alliance for which the major role he is contracted to deliver is leading the trade body for careers information and advice and guidance companies known as Careers England.
Prior to starting his own business Steve held a variety of leadership roles including that of Executive Director of Coventry and Warwickshire Connexions and Chief Executive of Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Partnership Ltd which was the sub regional economic development and regeneration company for the area prior to the formation of Local Enterprise Partnerships.
In 2003 he was awarded an OBE for services to young people and careers.
