The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has awarded £3.5 million to Coventry City of Culture to help the city deliver its celebrations this summer in line with Covid-19 restrictions.

Over 15,000 businesses have received free advice from the West Midlands’ Growth Hubs following the UK’s departure from the EU – and that is set to continue.

Ambitious plans to create a two-mile countryside walk and cycling route next to the city centre have taken another big step forwards after Severn Trent’s Community Fund awarded its largest grant in the West Midlands region.

Coventry City of Culture Trust has confirmed that the year of culture will start on 15 May 2021 and run for 12 months, and has given an update on what the opening weeks will include.
