What is the NHS Big Tea?
Every year we invite NHS staff, school groups, workplaces and community groups across the country to show their support for the NHS by hosting an NHS Big Tea event on 5th July.
And this year we’re hoping even more people will sign up to celebrate our 75th anniversary.
Your Big Tea event could include a cake sale/tea party, or, if you have some star bakers amongst your group – a competitive bake off, and let the impressive showstoppers battle it out!
How do I take part?
Just say yes! Send an email to uhcwcharity@uhcw.nhs.uk or call 02476 966 913 and let us know you would like to take part.
We will then be in touch with further information and be on hand if you need anything else!
Does the event have to be on 5th July?
Not at all – you can host your tea party on any day that week as it’s the 75th anniversary all year!
Your tea party could just be the start of your fundraising activities for those you love in our hospitals.
This could include a 75 themed challenge i.e. 75 mile bike ride, trek 75 hours, an auction of promises or a team challenge event.
Have you always wanted to conquer Ben Nevis? Now’s your chance to do it for a fantastic cause, to raise money and to show your support for our NHS and your local hospitals at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
How can we make donations?
There are a number of ways for you to donate the money you raise through your tea parties:
You can make a bacs transfer
