Vanessa Gilbert SEN Consultant Ltd (Vanessa Gilbert) has over thirty, exemplary, years working in Special Education as a teacher, school leader, advisor and trainer. Individuals with additional needs benefit from my passion and commitment.

Having gained a Bachelor of Education Honours degree in Special Education I bring a wealth of well-practised pedagogy. My reputation is built on sound judgement and appropriate decision making. As a creative thinker I am able to recognise opportunities and solutions.

Vanessa Gilbert SEN Consultancy offers expert specialist support, practical advice and tailored training to schools and organisations. Areas of expertise are communication and language, child development, Special Educational Needs and behaviour management.

Vanessa Gilbert has a wide portfolio that includes support to education staff and school leaders on curriculum, assessment, teaching and learning. Comprehensive reports on strategies and interventions are provided.

Through my guidance colleagues are afforded an opportunity to think about what they are doing, learn how to improve and put their learning into practise. My philosophy and approach is to promote inclusivity and equity that maximises the attainment, participation and well-being for all.

I thoroughly enjoy acting as a facilitator for the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) working with Coventry and Central Warwickshire Teaching School Hub. I aim to inspire our future school leaders through this role.

I have also been a Team Teach (Behaviour Management) tutor for over twenty years and I am a trainer for TACPAC (A specialist sensory communication intervention using music and touch).
