Coventry Building Society was established in 1884 and today is a modern, forward-looking mutual society that looks after the savings and mortgage needs of more than 1.8 million members across the UK.

This service has won many independent accolades, from being a Which? recommended savings provider to being rated number 1 for savings by Fairer Finance for the last three years. It also underpins our position as one of the UK’s top ten mortgage lenders.

We’re a large organisation with more than £42.5 billion of assets and members in every corner of the UK but we’re proud of our Coventry home and the support we have here from many thousands of our members.  We’re also proud of the work we do with charities, from our ten year partnership with The Royal British Legion to supporting hundreds of local community groups, together with increasingly vibrant links with our local schools.
