Our next CW Champions Event is Wednesday, 22nd May 2019 at The Cloud Pavilion, Dallas Burston Polo Club, Stoneythorpe Estate, Southam, CV47 2DL. 

Our keynote speakers are:
Helen Peters – CEO of Shakespeare’s England and CWLEP board member on the economic impact of tourism and leisure to our economy
Steve Lindsey – CEO of Lontra, on the company’s £65 million investment in Coventry and Warwickshire
Marc Truman – CEO of Arc Vehicle Ltd, which had designed the Vector -  the world’s most premium electric motorcycle

The WMPCC is running a business roundtable at Aston Villa on 10 April.

Business in the Community believes in building healthy communities with business at their heart.

About the roundtable:

We are convening HR practitioners, recruitment managers and CR professionals from both large and small businesses to explore practical ways in which the business community can support and employ people with an offending background.

You will have the opportunity to learn and discuss:

As part of the Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival, our next Coventry and Warwickshire Champions meeting will take place on Wednesday, 21st November at NAEC Stoneleigh Park, CV8 2LZ from 7:30am-9:30am.

Our Bollywood style curry night will give an authentic flavour of the Punjabi style cooked meal lovingly prepared with the support of Mum's Kitchen a Coventry based Social Enterprise Project working with minority women to reduce social isolation.

A twist to the event is Networking while enjoying a drink at our well-sourced pop-up bar on arrival. Followed by a sit-in 3-course home-cooked meal prepared in a professional chef kitchen by mums in a restaurant-style ambience. Bollywood foot tapping tunes will be icing on top.

As All Hallows approaches, join Dr Frankenstein at this medieval hospital site for a sip and a nibble at the grand unveiling of a secret laboratory. This lab and clinic explores the properties of the human body and soul creating miracle cures for those daring to try this selection of tasty yet gruesome delights… 

A darkly humorous bodily buffet will slay your hunger pangs whilst experimental cocktail concoctions will unleash your inner monster. Scenery will feature historic taxidermy from the Herbert’s collection.
