Making Memories at the Belgrade Theatre this Christmas

Wednesday 7th of December 2016 02:26 PM

On Thursday, 24 November, the Belgrade Theatre held its first Making Memories night of the Christmas season – supporting 48 local families in need, with tickets to see Dick Whittington – thanks to the donations made by the audiences, Members and kind donors over the last few weeks. To acknowledge all donations over £60 (which supports one family), 114 polka-dot bindles with thank you messages are displayed on the Belgrade's first floor foyer.

Just shy of 45% of our £6,840 target has been raised so far, which is great. However, this means there’s still a little way to go to help 114 families to experience the joy, excitement and escapism of theatre. The Belgrade Theatre are therefore asking for your help in raising awareness of the campaign and/or donating to help support even more families this year.

With this in mind, you can find more information about Making Memories in:

weekly blogs on the website www.belgrade.co.uk;

the campaign flyer on our website;

this short video - where Dame Sarah the Cook asks for your help;

the Making Memories page on Localgiving;

Belgrade Theatre foyers - through the donation buckets, plasma screens, posters, ‘Name the Bear’ and table talkers, or by phoning the Box Office on 024 7655 3055.
